EQUIP TO THRIVE WORKSHOPS

Interested in hosting a workshop? Review the Equip To Thrive opportunities below and let’s start a conversation at equiptothrive@gmail.com.

All workshops can be offered virtually.

My workshops are a candid experience that create space for challenge, are fueled by clarity and engage participants through contrast. My work is to always change the room while I’m there and to leave you with a new level of consciousness of self, others, and the context in which you lead. Curiosity is welcomed and we will always celebrate our successes as well as what we learn from our failures. Leave with courage to do the hard work after spending time in our collaborative learning environment. Connect with others in shared compassion as we work to equip ourselves, our people, and our organizations to thrive. We are imperfect AND talented people.

“Imperfect and Talented”- CliftonStrengths Workshop

“What would happen if we studied what was right with people versus what’s wrong with people?” - Donald O. Clifton

The CliftonStrengths assessment explains the unique ways you accomplish your goals by examining the way you build relationships, think strategically, execute plans and influence others. Organizations, teams, and individuals use this instrument to empower personal growth, team development, and business outcomes.

Outcomes provide the following information:

  • A measure of natural talents within 5 or 34 themes

  • A life-changing lens for self-awareness

  • A language to more accurately describe what you do best

  • Action items and in-depth information to use as you set out to accomplish your goals

Let’s explore what you and/or your team do best and craft an “Aim It”  Individual and/or Team Development plan that will allow you to thrive within your Strengths Zone. Investing in your talents will help you take the most direct and fulfilling route on your journey to excellence. We all have to embrace that we are “imperfect and talented”. Let’s do the best we can with the best of ourselves that we have to offer.

Participants will take the assessment prior to the workshop and during the session, we will engage in interactive and reflective exercises to process results. This workshop can be facilitated for a group of individual contributors, a team, or organization.

Testimonials

As a business owner, the Clifton Strengths workshop opened my eyes to the deeper capacity of each individual on my team. Understanding my colleagues' varied strengths awakened me to the beautiful patchwork quilt of our team. Additionally, understanding how each of my teammate's has trigger points within their strength reminded me that as humans, we can all work beneath our real capacity. This workshop reinforced to me, as the owner, how important it is to foster an environment that builds each other up and enables each personality to rise to its fullest potential.

I now have my strengths taped to my vanity and reflect on them each morning and evening. This daily reminder reinforces these strengths as my unique gifts and has reshaped my perspective on my colleagues' personalities. We all bring these strengths as gifts to one communal table, and it is up to us as a team to encourage, support, and bring out the best of these strengths in one another.

— Holly Coltea, barre3 Nashville Owner

CliftonStrengths has been an integral part of reshaping my views of self and others as is related to motivations and parts of a team.

Krystal led an inspiring, creative, and fun-filled workshop for our team. Keeping our diverse age range engaged and moving forward for the entire workshop. There are team building ice breakers, thoughtful hand outs, and an eye opening Strength chart of our entire team. We posted the chart in our break room for quick reference. It has helped to guide our hiring process, our conversation as it relates to conflicts and conflict resolution, and understanding each other on a more compassionate level.

I would highly recommend Krystal leading your team through the CliftonStrengths workshop.

The 8% Workshop

Are you a part of the 8%?

Research shows that only 8% of people achieve their New Year’s Resolution.

Want to be a part of this illustrious group? Transform your resolutions into goals. Goals are the workhorse of motivation. In this workshop, I’ll guide you through multiple goal setting frameworks and show you how to design effective goals. I’ll also help you create an actionable success plan that will help you achieve your goals. Included in this plan are the  3 F’s of Prioritization, tips to get you out of your head and beyond self-limiting beliefs, accountability hooks, ways to access increased motivation, tools to rid your path to success of speed bumps and roadblocks, and the all important answers to the question, “What happens if I fail?”

This workshop is for anyone who has a vision and is in the market for a way to bring it to life.

Stop setting yourself up for failure. This workshop is appropriate for any time of the year because there’s nothing magical about January 1st. However, there is something magical and meaningful about getting clear on your goals, creating a plan, and doing the work.

The Life Audit

Overwhelmed, underwhelmed, or just whelmed? Want to build a focused and fulfilled life?

Whether you feel that you have too much on your plate or not enough, it’s time to participate in The Life Audit. Let’s examine how you’ve allocated your resources. This workshop will lead you through the three f’s of prioritization (flare, filter, and focus).   We will work to get clear on what matters most to you and devise an action plan that will help you achieve your personal definition of success.

We have to stop trying to be everything to everyone. We have to stop saying “yes” when we need to say “no”, and we have to stop “shoulding” ourselves into unfulfilling commitments.  With intentional prioritization and execution, we can quiet the constant clutter and chaos that invades our to-do lists, calendars, inboxes, screens, accounts, and relationships.

It’s time to audit your life.

Get Out of Your Own Way: Overcoming the Roadblocks to Success as a Woman Leader

As women in leadership, we still have many mountains to move in order to achieve equity. Though we rightfully have endless issues of concern and many issues that we can influence, we have to accept that what we can ultimately control is how we respond to our experience. This workshop will explore common roadblocks that are proven to have a detrimental impact on the lives of women. Leave with a deeper understanding of each roadblock along with an action plan of short and long term strategies to help you  accelerate on your journey to success.

We owe ourselves the opportunity of being our own best advocate. There’s enough already standing in your way. Do yourself a favor and equip yourself with the knowledge and tools needed to not be another roadblock that hinders your pursuit of getting what you want and achieving the success you deserve.
